The Manhassett Bay One Design is design #1 off the drawing board of Olin Stephens. This boat came to us from Port Washington, NY to be completely restored.
The boat needed new deadwood and keelbolts. Here the boat is jacked up in the air just above the deadwood.
It also needed new ribs and floor timbers...
...and new planking.
All new deck framing and decking too!
Here the boat is in its natural environment at the Manhassett Bay Yacht Club. There's still an active racing fleet there. We have rebuilt two other boats in the fleet as well.
